Course Description:

This course presents an overview of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) and the amendments to the act made in 2009 and 2013. FMLA requires employers of a certain size to allow employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave in certain situations. It discusses employer and employee eligibility and highlights employer responsibilities, as well as providing practical tips on complying with these responsibilities. Course length: 0.75hrs
